Aquaponics Training
A learner assessed as competent against this qualification will have the necessary competence to supervise and lead a working team performing the agricultural processes as applicable to plant husbandry. Furthermore, the learner will be able to take responsible decisions based on a sound understanding of the basic principles of agri-business and good agricultural practices, in meeting the set objectives and targets within the broader farm plan which includes the economical application of general resources, agricultural production and technical knowledge and skills.
Rabbit Training
A learner assessed as competent against this unit standard will have the necessary competence of raising rabbits. Furthermore, the learner will know how rabbit rearing can be of benefit to plant species.
Hydroponics
A person achieving this unit standard will be able to perform routine operations under supervision and identify basic problems within a defined hydroponic production context.
Incident Investigation
In this Health & Safety course, delegates will gain knowledge and skills to be able to successfully conduct incident investigations into workplace incidents/accidents. Learners will be able to effectively communicate findings of an investigation to management and know how to follow up on corrective measures put into place to avoid similar accidents in the workplace.
Fire Fighting
Qualifying learners can select and use the appropriate fire fighting equipment to extinguish or control fires in the workplace.
First Aid
